Add a Form to Your Shopify Store

What the embed code looks like

Copy the exact code from the Share dialog in Edesy Forms. An inline form looks like this:

A slider that opens from the right uses a button:

Where to paste it in Shopify

• A single page (Online Store 2.0 themes): Online Store, Themes, Customize. Open the page template, click Add section, choose Custom Liquid and paste the code.
• Product pages: open the product template in the theme editor and add a Custom Liquid block or section where the form should appear.
• Every page (popup or slider): add the Custom Liquid section to the footer area so the button is available across the store.
• Older themes: paste the code into the page template or theme.liquid through Edit code. Keep a copy of the theme before editing code.

Track submissions

When a customer submits an embedded form, the page receives an edesy:submitted event with the form ID, response ID and submission reference. You can use it in your own analytics script:

If the form does not appear

1. Check the live store, not only the theme editor preview.
2. Make sure both lines of the code were pasted, including the script tag.
3. On Pro, if you limited which sites can embed the form, add your store domain (and your myshopify.com domain if you use it).
